Moodle - Willo Labs - Configuration

(for Aktiv Team)

  1. This requires that a Willo Labs Customer has already been created.

  2. Logon to Willo Labs.

  3. Select Configurations on the left hand menu.

  4. Click the + Add Configuration button on the right, and be sure to select Add Platform.

  5. In the Add New Configuration screen,
    • Give it a name like Moodle Institution Configuration (moodle.institution.com). Try to keep to the format Moodle <INSTITUTION> Configuration (<LMS_URL>).
    • Select the willo labs customer we had previously created associated with this institution.
    • Choose Moodle as the platform.
    • Hit Save Changes.

  6. You’ll get taken to the Edit Configuration Page.
    • You’ll notice the LTI base URL be set to https://app.willolabs.com/. Take note of this.
    • You’ll also see a Consumer Key and Consumer Secret which you should take note as we’ll need these later.
    • Double check the Configuration Name and the Customer fiels that are indeed set correctly.
    • The Platform should be Moodle.
    • For single-column sync (v1), select Grade Sync Mode to be LTI Basic Outcomes Service.
    • For multi-column sync (v2), select Grade Sync Mode to be Moodle 3.5+: LTI Assignment and Grade Services.
    • The Enable site-wide credentials should be enabled. This should generate the Key and Secret automatically, or if not, hit that Generate New Key and Secret.
    • Leave the Masquerade... disabled.
    • Leave the Custom LTI Parameters empty.
    • Hit Save Changes.
