Blackboard - Install Aktiv Multi Column Sync (V2)

(for Aktiv Team)

PART 1: Pre-Setup:

1. Install a Willo Labs Customer. You will need the LMS Admin’s email address.

2. Install a Willo Labs Configuration.

3. Install a Willo Labs Integration.

4. Install an Admin Site LTI Source.

PART 2(a): LMS Admin (On Call / Hand-Holding)

Use this section if you take an integration call with the LMS Admin, otherwise skip to next section.

1. In the LMS, guide the LMS Admin to setup a Blackboard LTI External Tool. Have at hand the Launch URL (Tool Provider URL), Consumer Key (Tool Provider Key) and Consumer Secret (Tool Provider Secret) that you got from the Willo Labs installation above.

2. In the LMS, you should guide the LMS admin to setup a Blackboard REST API Integration. You will need the Application ID that you got from Willo Labs (when doing the Willo Labs REST API Integration).

PART 2(b): LMS Admin (DIY)

Use this section if you just want to email the LMS Admin with instructions so that they complete it themselves.

1. Send the LMS admin an email referencing the following guide providing the Application ID (from Willo Labs) and also the Launch URL (Tool Provider URL), Consumer Key (Tool Provider Key) and Consumer Secret (Tool Provider Secret) that you got from the willo labs installation above. For e.g:

   Dear [LMS Admin] of [University],

   Please visit https://help.aktiv.com/guides/lms/blackboard/lms-blackboard-install-v2 for a complete guide to install Aktiv to be able to perform multi-column syncing.

   You will need the following data:

   - Tool Provider URL: [url]

   - Tool Provider Key: [key]

   - Tool Provider Secret: [secret]

   - Application ID: [applicationId]
