Canvas (QA) - Add Student to Course

  1. Navigate to canvas.lms.aktiv.com, and login with the admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to “Admin” -> “UserName LastName”.

  3. Then select “Courses” from the left hand sub-menu.

  4. Then select the course you want to add the user to:

  5. In the left hand sub menu, select “People”:

  6. On the right hand side, select the “+People” button:

  7. In the “Add People” screen:
    • Add user(s) by: “Login ID”
    • Login ID(s): “test+student_alpha” (without @aktiv.com)
    • Role: “Student”
    • Hit “Next”

  8. In the next screen hit the “Add Users” button:

  9. Back in the list of users, you should now see the user appear in the list:

  10. Now login to canvas.lms.aktiv.com as the student and accept the invitation to join the course.

  11. Add some more students, this time use beta or gamma as the suffix.
