Canvas - Willo Labs - Integration

(for Aktiv Team)

1. This requires that a Willo Labs Customer and a Willo Labs Configuration have already been created.

2. Logon to Willo Labs or Willo Labs (Stage) for QA.

3. Select Integrations on the left hand menu.

   

4. Click the + Add Integration button on the right.

   

5. In the Add New Integration screen:
   • Select the customer that we created from the previous step.
   • Select the configuration that we created from the previous step.
   • Select the Aktiv provider (or Aktiv (staging) for QA).

   

6. In the Edit Integration screen:
   • Take note of the Launch URL as we will need this later.
   • Give it a name like Canvas Institution Integration (canvas.institution.com). Try to keep to the format Canvas <INSTITUTION> Integration (<LMS_URL>).
   • Leave Notes blank.
   • Leave Enable integration-level credentials disabled.
   • Leave Custom LTI Parameters blank.
   • Leave Master/Child Mode unselected.
   • Leave Manage Access unselected.
   • Leave Content ID (ISBN/SKU) blank.
   • Leave Retail price (content fee) blank and its checkbox disabled.
   • Leave Net price blank.
   • Leave Enable diagnostic mode disabled (unless you are doing QA then enable).
   • Enable Trim whitespace from fields.
   • Leave Make context_id unique disabled.
   • Hit Save Changes.

   

7. Next step is to add an Admin Site Institution.
