Enable/Apply Configuration Settings (External Learning Tools) (LTI v1.3)

(for LMS admin)

  1. Navigate to the Admin menu, and select External Learning Tools.

  2. Click on the LTI Advantage tab and click into the newly created tool.

  3. Confirm that tool is Enabled.

  4. Confirm that all Extensions are selected, and select the following items in the Security Settings section:
    • Org Unit Information
    • User Information (select all)
    • Link Information (select all)
  5. Select both Configuration Settings:
    • Open as External Resource
    • Grades created by LTI will be included in Final Grade.

  6. Click Add Org Units to add any org units with courses that need to utilize the tool.

  7. Record the Deployment Id.

  8. Click Save and Close.
